Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is a spiritual organisation which calls upon its members to be disciples who work for the church under the tutelage of Mary Immaculate. The Legion was founded on 7th Sept. 1921 in Dublin, Ireland by a layman, Frank Duff, as an association of Catholics.

The Legion’s work includes door-to-door evangelisation, home and hospital visits, rosary crusades, visiting the homebound, paying condolence visits, and visiting those in institutions such as the clergy home, home for the aged, prison, etc.

The Legion meets every Tuesday at 5:45pm in the Council Room at which time members receive assignments; working in pairs they are required to complete these assignments during the week.
The Legion is guided by its Spiritual Director, Fr. Titus James. For further information, please contact Mavis D’Silva at tel. 2651-3981.
