Fr. Henry D’Souza SVD

Fr. Henry, hails from Fajir parish in Mangalore.  He is the 12^th among 13 children.  In 1980 he joined the SVD minor seminary in Kirem, Mangalore, and was ordained a priest in 1994.  He has a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology, major in Clinical Counseling from the university in the Philippines. From 2004 he has been actively engaged in Retreat preaching, Counseling, and delivering various kinds of programs for both the religious and the laity.  Presently, he serves as the Parish Priest at St. Theresa’s Church, Bandra.

Fr. Jomet Joseph SVD
Born: 08-08-1984
Ordination: 29th April 2015.

Fr. Jomet Joseph, SVD hails from Ramapuram, in the Diocese of Palai, Kerala. He is the youngest of five children born to Joseph and Annakutty. After completing his 10th standard, he joined the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) at Changanacherry in the year 2000 and made his first religious profession in 2008. He was ordained a priest in 2015. Fr. Jomet holds two master’s degrees: one in Philosophy from Bhopal, and another in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He is also a certified Basic Consultant in Positive Psychotherapy, accredited by the World Association of Positive Psychotherapy. Currently, he serves as the co-pastor at St. Theresa’s Church, Bandra, Mumbai.

His prior appointments are as follows:

2016-2018 – Assistant Prefect and Vocation Promoter, St. John’s Mission Seminary, Kerala.

Fr. Shinoy Mathew SVD

Fr. Shinoy Mathew hails from Kalanky, from the diocese of Thalasserry in Kerala. He is the fifth and the youngest of five children to Mathew and Annamma.  He joined the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) in 2002 and made his first profession in the year 2010 and was ordained a priest in 2017. He has a B.Ed. from St. John’s College of Education, Changanacherry, and an M.A. in Philosophy from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. Presently, Fr. Shinoy is the Principal of St. Theresa’s School as well as a part-time teacher.

His prior appointments are as follows:
