ANNOUNCEMENTS 2nd NOVEMBER 2025
1. Today is the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time and it is celebrated as All Souls Day. All the masses today will be offered for the departed souls of our families.
2. The PPC meeting will be held next Sunday, 9th November at 11:00am in the parish council room.
3. The first Friday devotion to the sacred Heart of Jesus with Eucharistic adoration and recitation of the Divine Mercy chaplet will be held at 6.30pm on 7th November.
4. The family cell in association with TYM and the Focolare, invite all the families of our parish to celebrate children’s day with telegames with a difference on Sunday, 16th November from 9:30am onwards.
5. The Prayer Group invites you to a teaching on “God’s Promises comfort me in all my troubles” by Br. Gregory Fernandes on Tuesday, 4th November after the 7:00 pm. Mass.
6. We are looking for a parishioner, who could improvise and make the parish website more presentable. Those who are familiar with the website, kindly contact Fr. Henry at the earliest.
7. St. Blaise church Amboli is organizing a meet and greet program for the singles on 16th November 2025 at 10:30am at St. Blaise High School. Details are on the notice board.
8. St. Andrew’s Parish is holding a free “Compassionate Caring” Programme for caregivers of the elderly on Sunday, 9th November from 10:30am to 1:00pm. For details, please see the notice board.

1. Today is the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. Saturday, 1st November is the Solemnity of All Saints.
3. Next Sunday, 2nd November is All Souls’ Day. All the Masses will be celebrated for the departed souls. Please drop your mass intention along with the stipend in the box marked, “All Souls Day.” Kindly note: The 7:00 pm mass on Saturday is not an anticipated Mass. To fulfil your Sunday obligation, you are required to attend Mass on Sunday.
4. The Prayer Group invites you to a teaching on “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength” by Mr. Ralph Dsouza on Tuesday, 28th October after the 7:00pm. Mass.
5. On Friday, 31st October, we conclude the Rosary Month with a Walking Rosary in the church compound at 7:30pm., following the evening Mass. We will offer the Rosary for peace and religious harmony in India. All parishioners are urged to come in large numbers and pray together for peace and harmony.
6. The Bible Cell has cancelled the Fun Time for Children due to ongoing work in the school hall. Those who have registered their names may claim back their registration fees.

1. Today is the 29th Sunday in Ordinary time and it is celebrated as “World Mission Sunday”.
2. A collection is made on mission Sunday for the propagation of faith. This collection is sent to the archbishop’s house. Cheques should be drawn in favour of “Archdiocese of Bombay-Society for the propagation of the faith.” Kindly drop your contribution in the box marked “Mission Sunday” at the main entrance to the church.
3. This year “All souls Day” falls on Sunday. On 2nd November all the masses will be celebrated for the “departed souls.” The masses are as usual, Saturday 7:00pm, Sunday: 7:00am; 8:30am; 10:00am and evening 6:00pm. A box will be placed at the main entrance to the church marked “All souls day”. Kindly drop your intention as well as the stipend for the mass in the box.
4. As mental health challenges are on the rise among the senior citizens, our parish is organizing a seminar on Alzheimer’s/Dementia by Holy Family Hospital Neurosurgeon Dr. Sunanda Anand on Saturday, 25th October at 11:00am in the parish council room. We urge all our senior citizens to attend this seminar and benefit from it. Kindly register your name in the parish office at the earliest.
5. The Bible cell is organizing fun time for children of Stds 1 to 10 from 27th to 29th October from 9:30am to 12:30pm in the school hall. Parents kindly encourage your children to join in the program. Please register in the parish office @ Rs.50/- per child. Sponsors are welcome.
6. As the great jubilee 2025 is coming to its close, we are organizing a two-day jubilee special retreat on 21st and 22nd October from 7:00pm to 9:00pm led by Fr. Peter Vellara and his team associated with Potta retreat ministry on the theme “Faith formation and Word of God in Families.” We urge all our parishioners to attend this retreat without fail and renew your life in the jubilee year.
7. Monday, 20th October is Diwali. The parish office will remain closed.
8. The Gujarati Community has Bible convention in our parish from 21st to 23rd October from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
9. In this month of the Rosary, the TYM invites all the youth of our Parish for a Pilgrim Walk to Mount Mary on Saturday, 25th October. Please gather at our Church Grotto at 4:45 PM.

ANNOUNCEMENTS 28th SEPTEMBER 2025
1. Today is the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. The Novena in honour of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, our patroness, has already begun. We encourage all parishioners to join the 7:00 pm Mass with preaching every day.
3. The last three days of the Novena (2nd, 3rd, and 4th October) will include cultural activities and food stalls after the 7:00pm Mass. Communities, cells, and associations are welcome to put up stalls. Kindly contact the Parish Office for booking the tables.
4. Our Parish Feast will be celebrated on Sunday, 5th October, with the Feast Mass at 9:00 am. On that day there will be only two Masses: 7:00 am and 9:00 am. We urge all parishioners to participate wholeheartedly in the Feast Mass.
5. This year marks the Centenary of the Canonization of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. On the Feast Day, we will take the relics of our patroness in procession to the church. Please gather at the Society of St. Paul compound, in front of Duruelo Convent School, at 8:30 am on Sunday, 5th October. From there, the relics will be brought in procession for the 9:00 am Mass.
6. On the Feast Day, at 7:00 pm, we will have a parish get-together at the school quadrangle. Entry is by coupon only. Coupons are available at the Parish Office for Rs.200/-. The last date to purchase the coupon is 3rd October.

3. The prayer group invites you to a teaching on “I Have Carved You on the Palm of My Hand.” by Fr. Bastin Thomas on Tuesday, 23rd September after the evening mass.
4. Our Parish Feast will be celebrated on Sunday, 5th October, with the Feast Mass at 9:00am. In preparation, we will have nine days of Novena Masses at 7:00 pm, beginning on 26th September. The last three days of the novena (2nd, 3rd, and 4th October) will include cultural activities after the evening Mass. All parishioners are encouraged to attend the novenas faithfully.

8. The parish is organising a Career Guidance Seminar for our youth, conducted by Dimensions, on 27th September from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Parish Council Room. All parish youth are warmly invited. This seminar is mandatory to the TYM and confirmation candidates.

5. The parish is organising a career guidance seminar for our parish youth by Dimensions on 27th September from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the parish council room. All the youth are invited for this seminar. The TYM and the confirmation students have to attend this seminar without fail.
6. The Care for Creation Cell is having an online Challenge Competition open to all parishioners of all age groups. This week’s challenge is a “Write-up Contest” – topic is ‘ What motivates you to care for the Beauty of God’s Creation?’. This is the last of the eco-challenges curated by the care for creation cell. 2. Today we are celebrating Justice Sunday with special focus on climate justice and Ecological conversion, transformation and resistance to false solutions.
3. Sunday, 31st August at the 6:00pm mass, we joyfully mark the conclusion of the 150th Jubilee of the SVD foundation. Archbishop John Rodrigues will preside over the festive mass. This will be his first visit to our parish as the archbishop of Bombay. Please come in large numbers to welcome the archbishop at 5:30pm.
4. We request parents to send their little children, dressed in white to lead the archbishop in procession to the church.
5. The Novena for the Nativity of Our Blessed Mother will begin on Saturday, 30th August at 6:30pm. We request the parents to encourage and send their children to participate in this special devotion.

2. Friday, 15th August is the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a day of obligation. The masses are as follows: 7:00am; 8.30am; 10:00am and 6:00pm.
3. On Independence Day, flag hoisting organized by Bombay Catholic Sabha will be held after the 7:00am mass. All are invited.
4. Next Sunday, is Prison Ministry Sunday. In our parish, there is no one working for Prison Ministry. We need volunteers to opt for this important ministry in the dioceses. Those who wish join kindly contact the parish office.

6. Sunday, 31st August we joyfully mark the conclusion of the 150th Jubilee of the SVD foundation with a special thanksgiving mass at 6:00pm, presided over by Archbishop John Rodrigues. This will be his first visit to our parish as the archbishop of Bombay. Let us come together in large numbers to welcome the archbishop to our parish.
