ANNOUNCEMENTS - 26th April 2026

1. Today, is the fourth Sunday of Easter.

2. The month of May is dedicated to our Lady. Each community in our parish is requested to come to the church grotto for Rosary at 6:15pm from Monday to Friday. Community leaders are requested to book their slot in the parish office.

3. The First Friday devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus with Eucharistic adoration and recitation of the Divine Mercy chaplet will be held on 1st May at 6:30pm.

4. The prayer group invites you to a teaching on “Stand firm in faith and be strong” by Gregory Fernandes on Tuesday, 26th April 2026 after the 7:00pm mass.

5. We invite all the youth of our parish in the age group of 16 – 30 years to register online to be members of the Theresian Youth Movement, a community of young people growing in faith, friendship and service. May 15 is the last date for online registration.

6. St. Anne’s parish is conducting 5 days workshop for children from 4th to 8th May 2026. Please see the notice board for details.

7. Don Bosco College, Kurla is accepting applications for Degree programmes in Hospitality studies, Mass media and communication, accounting and finance and Management studies. Details are on the notice board.

8. Our parish website is updated and made more presentable. Thanks to Everly Quadros and Rickashe Bhundoo for doing the needful. We request every cell and association in our parish to give us the latest report with names of the office bearers to be uploaded in the website.

9. Applications for the various courses at Sophia minority Polytechnic college are open. Details are on the notice board.

10. Fr. Lawrence Correa, SVD is appointed as the co-pastor at St. Theresa’s parish and Fr. Callisto, SVD, who was with us for the last one year is going for his next assignment. We thank Fr. Callisto for his services to our parish, especially for animating our youth.

11. We have placed a good number of books on psychology and spirituality at the main entrance to the church. You are most welcome to pick up any book you like to read.

12. Month’s Mind of Errol Pereira is on Sunday, 3rd May at 6:00pm,

13. Last Sunday’s love offering amounts to Rs.73,480/- and SVP collection Rs.28,672/- God bless you for your generosity.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - 12th April 2026

1. Today, is Divine Mercy Sunday. The PPC meeting will be held this morning after the 10:00am mass in the council room.

2. The prayer group invites you to a teaching on “I am the resurrection and the life” by Fr. Ashwin Castelino on Tuesday, 14th April 2026 after the 7:00pm mass.

3. Registration for the Basic Liturgy course by the Commission for Liturgy, Archdiocese of Bombay is open. The course begins on 28th June 2026. We urge some of our parishioners to enrol for this course. Details are on the notice board.

4. The Archdiocese of Bombay, Office for Lay collaboration in Ministry is organizing one year (7 week-ends) in service training for lay people. Those who wish to enrol for this program, kindly see the notice board for details.

5. St. Pauls institute of Communication Education is organizing workshops on Photography, video editing, graphic design and many more for students above the age of 15 years. See the notice board for details.

6. Members of Hope N Life are requested to come for a meeting on Monday, 13th April at 5:30pm in the parish council room.

7. Theresian Diamonds invite all seniors to their get-together on Saturday, 25th April from 10:30am in the parish council room. Entry passes are available with the committee members.

9. Admissions are open at St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education, Bandra for postgraduate diplomas in Journalism, Film making, advertising and public relations. Please refer the notice board for details.

10. Month’s Mind of Celine Coutinho is on Monday,13th April at 7:00pm.

11. The love offering at the Holy Triduum: Maundy Thursday: Rs.1,11,100/-; Good Friday: Rs.1,18,040/-. This amount is sent to the archdiocese to be sent to the Holy Land. Easter Sunday: Rs.1,71,645/- and Lenten alms toward Goregaon Seminary Rs.1,13,790/- God bless you for your generosity.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - EASTER – 5th April 2026

1. Tomorrow, Easter Sunday masses are as follows: 7:00am; 8:30am & 10:00am. There will be no evening mass.

2. Next Sunday, 12th April is Divine Mercy Sunday. The solemn feast mass will be celebrated at 10:00am.

3. PPC meeting will be held next Sunday, 12th April at 11:00am.

4. The Easter House blessings will be carried out in April and May as per the availability of the zonal pastor. Information will be passed on to the families in due time.

5. The Bombay Catholic Sabha invites you to a seminar on “The Essentials of Redevelopment” by professional speakers on Saturday, 11th April at 11:00am in the Parish Council Room. For further details and registration, please refer to the poster on the notice board.

6. From April 2026, St. Andrew’s Church will charge a graveyard maintenance fee of Rs.500/- per annum for all niches.

7. The Archdiocese of Bombay, Office for Lay collaboration in Ministry is organizing one year (7 week-ends) in service training for lay people. Those who wish to enrol for this program, kindly see the notice board for details.

8. St. Theresa’s school is starting nursery from this academic year. Online admissions are open till 8th April. Kindly visit the school website for details and apply online.

10. SVP will make their monthly collection next Saturday and Sunday on 11th and 12th April.

11. Month’s Mind of Sr. Celestine Lobo is on Monday, 6th April at 7:00pm and 1st Death Anniversary of Keith Drego is on Friday,10th April at 7:00pm.

12. Last Sunday’s Love Offering amounted to Rs.85,675/-. The Lenten mission collection for Divine Call Centre, Mulky is Rs.1,23,960/-. Thank you for your generosity.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - 29th March 2026

1. Today is Passion Sunday. The blessing of palms will take place at 7:30am in the school quadrangle, followed by a procession to the church for the 8:00am Mass.

2. We have just completed the Lenten Mission preached by Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes, SVD, from Divine Call Centre, Mulki. It was heartening to see the good participation on all three days. We thank the Prayer Group for their valuable assistance.

3. A special Mass for the sick and the homebound will be held on Thursday, 2nd April. Confessions will begin at 10:00am, followed by the Mass.

4. Holy Week Liturgy Schedule:
• Maundy Thursday: Liturgy begins at 7:30pm. As this is the Year of the Families, one family from each zone will participate in the Washing of the Feet. Selected families are requested to be present in the church by 7:00pm, preferably dressed in white.
• Hindi service at 4:00pm.

5. After the Mass, the entire parish is invited to spend one hour in adoration before the Altar of Repose.

6. Hot Cross Buns will be available after the Mass at the gates.

7. Good Friday – Stations of the Cross:
• 7:00am – Led by Daughters of St. Paul Sisters
• 8:00am – Led by Duruelo Convent Sisters
• 12:00 noon – Live Stations by TYM

8.The Three Hours’ Agony will be preached by Fr. Shavito Correia, Chancellor of the Archdiocese, from 9:00am to 11:45am.

9.Good Friday Service:
• Evening service at 6:30pm
• Hindi service at 3:00pm

10. On Holy Saturday, devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows, preached by Fr. Jomet Joseph, will be from 9:00am to 10:00am.

11. The Easter Vigil Mass will be celebrated at 9:00pm on the school ground. Mangaon candles will be available at the entrance.

12. Easter Sunday Masses: 7:00am, 8:30am, and 10:00am. No evening Mass

13. From April 2026, St. Andrew’s Church will charge a graveyard maintenance fee of Rs.500/- per annum for all niches.

14. Last Sunday’s Love Offering amounted to Rs.59,425/-. Thank you for your generosity.
