Fr. Jomet Joseph, SVD hails from Ramapuram, in the Diocese of Palai, Kerala. He is the youngest of five children born to Joseph and Annakutty. After completing his 10th standard, he joined the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) at Changanacherry in the year 2000 and made his first religious profession in 2008. He was ordained a priest in 2015. Fr. Jomet holds two master’s degrees: one in Philosophy from Bhopal, and another in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He is also a certified Basic Consultant in Positive Psychotherapy, accredited by the World Association of Positive Psychotherapy.
Currently, he serves as the co-pastor at St. Theresa’s Church, Bandra, Mumbai.

2023-2025 – MSc Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu
2025 – Co-pastor, St. Theresa’s Church, Bandra, Mumbai.
