Fr. Tony Menezes, SVD, was born and brought up in Chandor, Salcete, Goa. Whilst still in High School, he sensed the call to be a priest and joined the SVD Mission Seminary in Raia, Goa, continuing his studies and formation later in Indore, Mysore and Pune. After his Ordination, he worked as a Vocation Promoter, Prefect and Rector at the SVD Seminary, Goa for two different stints. He also served as the Assistant Parish Priest at Sacred Heart Church, Andheri.
Biography
Following his Doctorate in Clinical Counselling Psychology, Fr. Tony served on two postings as the Director of Atmadarshan, Centre for Spirituality and Counselling, Andheri, Mumbai. He was also the Director of Ishvani Kendra, Pune and Aashirvad Retreat Centre in Raia, Goa. Fr. Tony is well known as a Retreat Preacher and Counselling Psychologist, besides being a resource person in India and abroad on topics like Emotions, Stress Management, Formation, Leadership, Happiness, Psycho-Spiritual Growth, Family Life and Marriage.
